The future of mankind is Raw indeed.... I didnt know if i should submit this to Political or Sci Fi, but i chose Sci fi...

Ever watched the matrix? It basically tells us that the future of men is doom, because as they have created machines, they were the architects of their own demise....

I was watching Discovery Channel couple of days ago, it showed how some scientists have created a robot to help with work... It seems those damn fools never watch any Sci Fi movie... Our future is inevitable... thats what i believe... there is no escape from it now, it's too late......

This work shows what is to that it will beome of us... now we are slaves to our own limitations, we cannot fly, we cannot be super beings... tomorow, we will be slaves to the machines....

Ver nice manipulationc

I saw it on the main page :)

I really like the color ant the robot itself.

really interesting, great use of stocks and the color tone is wonderful. Although the right eye is kind of coming off the side of the head, but other than that small detail the concept is well thought and the work well done.

Very giger-esque. Anyway, simply creating a robot to help with work is nothing bad. They've had robots helping build cars for years. The point of the matrix is that they created artificial intelligence. This was also the point in Terminator 3 (woe to anyone who actually watched that wretched movie). Anyway, I seriously doubt that this sort of future is anywhere near. Anyway, as far as the artwork goes. I think it looks a bit cartoony. I don't know if that's what you were going for, but a filter or two on the tubes would help make it look dirtier, less appealing. Also, less centered is better almost always. I do like the use of a skull's nose hole. Anyway, over all a very good piece. Keep it up

Yeah, I agree with you, pretty scary but I also find it entertaining due to us predicting it through movies...

Cool picture/manip btw!

DEAD ACCOUNT!!! DO NOT WATCH!!! New work here - [link]

mmm... well, I still belive that robots taking over humans like in Sci Fi, is a long way from now, but it's not inevitable... and we may not witness it in our lifetime, but i doubt that it wont happen.....

As for the work itself, sadly, i wasnt going for a cartoonish look.... I agree about adding a filter to the pipes, such small details do escape after i work on it more than 10 hours if u know what i mean...

However, i appreaciate ur comment... thanks for being honest and i hope u do give me more tips in the future...

Thanks again.

This is once again, awesome! The pipe to the mouth looks sorta like a pacifier, making the face look like a baby, which suggests that life is the way you see it from day one. The window in the machine helps it to seem like the only purpose for a window is to feed wires and pipes through and not to see a thing, which is sorta sad when you consider the my favourite use of windows today, seeing the sky.
The eyes are really good, its left eye looks broken, or sick, but noone seems to have paid any notice to it, because the comfort of the humanoid is insignificant. Its right eye on the other hand, is really dark, and it shows a lot of pain, and I can only imagine that if it could speak, it'd be screaming out for help. In this pic, unlike the matrix, this person doesnt seem to have been given a 'world' to live in... he has to deal with his existance as it is, which is really sad when you think about it, and explains the pain seen in the humanoid's good eye.
The nose (or lack thereof) is a good idea, because to me, it shows the manipulation of the humans by machines to become more effective. By this I mean, noses may have been useful for smelling things in the current world, but when we're locked in a machine for the extent of our lives, it'd get in the road of a nice big sheet of glass, so they remove it.
The stamp on the forhead reminds me of clothing tags... giving information and perhaps a brand name, which suggests that humans are manufactured and owned, just as robots are today.
The frame hanging from chains around the face reminds me somewhat of a trophy or a wall hanging, which again suggests that humans are nothing but possessions.
I do agree with *afireinsideme... the pipes and wires look really clean, and don't quite fit properly with the surroundings. Robots have no reason to maintain a hygeinic environment, because it doesn't benefit, or harm them either way, so it's simply more efficient to let things go.
The label on the mouth pipe is interesting, and I can just imagine it saying "made in china" :giggle: but the japanese text is effective, because that's where a majority of the increasing technology evolves.
I think my only real complaint is that the thing on its left cheek (our right) doesnt fit. It seems to be floating above the skin, and looks out of place. Other than that... I have nothing to complain about. :D

Wow... I've been itching for a decent analysis for a while, and this pic was perfect for it, so I'm sorry if I just let loose ;p
As much as I love this, I'm not gonna fav it, coz I'd end up with a fav gallery the same as your dev-gallery!
 awesome work darlin... nicely done :D

a well done image... my only suggestion is that you add some sort of shadow to giev the impression that the tubes are in fact already connected to the head...

a great image....
