First things first. what you see here is the COVER!!! Its not the entire thing, its not even one half...
You have to download it to your pc, unzip the content, to read the entire thing.
As you may have noticed, what I have here are 5 pages of a small comic story, sin city style. Of course, it could have been much much bigger, more details, but I felt that since its my first try, I shouldnt over do it.
I wont spoil the story, nor the ending, nor the meaning, you just have to download it and read the entire thing.

every stock account is mentioned on the first page
this took a LOT of time, seriously, most of the background used for each picture is drawn by me.
my thanks however goes to :defabe-stock: who is the hero in this
Its less than 1Mb to download, so please, take a bit of time, its well worth it

This is soo touching, but promiss u won't do it to urself very nice work really i just wonder when u r going to do ur own drawings or ur own photos, i think it would look more amazing, for the backgrounds u did!I love ur style ur spirit and ur feelings, honestly.
I'll download and review this soon, it looks like it's worth a quiet read, but here's one thing about the cover: ditch that font!! It's good for Garfield-style comics, NOT for this kind of atmosphere!

mmm i see. but, i thought that Comic sans ms was the font to be used in comics.... what font should i be using for these type of stuff? cause you know they dont bother teaching us this at university.
Hell no, there is no "set" font for comics, there are dozens you can use Comic Sans is just a default font on most computers and one that browsers recognise, so it's widely used. To pick a font for anything you do, you should apply the font to a paragraph and look at it as a texture. See what impression that font gives you. Is it sober? elegant? feminine? cutting? light? dark? goofy? etc. Find the font that matches the mood you want, and then check it's legible engouh for your purposes. For instance there are fonts that are only good for titles, some that can work for short texts, and the most professional fonts are those used for long texts. Try this to find yours: go to [link] . Have a look at the following categories, for instance: Script > Handwritten, Fancy > Comic, maybe even Fancy > Eroded. See anything that fits your visuals? I recommend you build a database of fonts for your own use, categorised by feel (not alphabetically). It'll really help you later.
If they don't teach you to use fonts they're retards. There is no graphic design without typography!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
The Deviousness Award is an accolade which is traditionally handed out on the 1st of every month to one trully outstanding deviant. `Cyantre is one of the most helpful deviants within our community. Always looking for ways in which he can get more involved in our community, John's positive presence is to be aspired to.
